what's in season

Asparagus.  When it is this thin I just pour boiling water over and let it sit for about 5 mins.  Asparagus goes with everything but especially I think with scallops and prawns.

Cos lettuce.  Make a 'Caesar salad' with avocado and bacon and plenty of parmesan cheese.

Avocados.  What can I say.  Maldon salt and a spoon is all I need.  Would have to be one of my top ten food loves.

 Loquats eat straight of the tree.  If you eat too many it is known to have gentle sedative effects lastly 24hrs.
